Ontario Harvest Report - Doug Alderman, Pride Seed

With the warmest September on record it is maybe no surprise that October has been a harvesting nightmare.  Ontario has been receiving its fair share of rain which has resulted in a late soybean harvest and a corn harvest that is just about to begin.  There is a lot of interest in the Ontario corn yields due to some farmers really pushing the heat units planted in many areas to push the yield potential.  Of course in order for this to work out you need mother nature to cooperate.  Right now she is not cooperating.  I talked to Doug Alderman, National Sales Manager at Pride Seeds to update us on the soybean and corn harvest in Ontario.
