In the United States the NCBA does a lot of work to make sure the consumer really understands the cooking process of beef. The NCBA booth was full of cookbooks and other how to’s to make sure everyone enjoys the beef eating experience.
I talked to Steve Leigh, a technician with the NCBA about how to properly cut meat at home. As he mentions in the video,”cutting meat is just like slicing a loaf of bread.” The curious thing is that many people are really intimidated by this process. Not only do many people fret about how to cook the meat but also how to properly slice the rib eye to ensure proper thickness.
