Does Canada Need Bill C-474? – Interview With MP Alex Atamanenko, NDP

Earlier this week I published an interview with David Sippell the President of CSTA regarding Bill C-474. Some people emailed me with positive and negative responses to the bill.  I decided to find out more by interviewing the man that has initiated this private members bill.  This also answers criticism from some of you that I only provide content from one side of these issues.  Mr. Alex Atamanenko’s is an NDP Member of Parliament from Southern BC Interior. I interviewed him from his office in Ottawa.

I have broken the interview into two parts due to length.  I encourage you to take the time to listen to the interviews and let me know how you feel about this bill and the potential impacts good and bad on trade, innovation and the regulatory system in Canada.

Although I do not agree with Mr. Alex Atamanenko’s position on Bill C-474, I think it is important that I provide you with his comments and motivations for Bill C-474 so that you can form your own opinions.
