The question of how bullish is corn is really all the talk right now in coffee shops across the US and Canada. Producers and the industry are focused on this crop staple and what it is going to do through the winter. Will we see $6.00 corn shortly or is this just a short blip on the technical charts before head back to $4.00? Its the usual debate at harvest time but what the outcome will be this year will be is up in the air with a so-so corn harvest in the US and a low carry out.
Moe Agostino, Farms.com talked to me at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show about his corn outlook between now and September. Some of you will probably be very happy and some of you are going to be shaking your head. Moe is confident in his predictions and so far this year I think he has been very accurate in his 2010 outlook. The ultimate question is whether corn will be king at the end of 2010?
