Dairy Cow Waterbeds Provide Better Comfort

Animal activists often criticize that animal agriculture does not care for its livestock in a humane manner. Those of us in the industry realize that this is a ridiculous notion. At a dairy, animal care is ever more important due to the rule of “a happy cow produces more milk.”

In the category of providing the ultimate in comfort and care for the dairy cow, I present to you the dairy cow water bed. Animal activists need to see this kind of concept and get a better understanding of the lengths that livestock farmers go to to ensure livestock is comfortable and happy.

When I first walked by this booth I thought it was a gimmick but after three days at the show it was clear that this concept was real based on the interactions I heard between dairyman and the company that manufacturers the beds. Please watch the video and let me know that you think and if you have any experience with dairy waterbeds.
