Larry Thomas Is Connecting the Cattle Industry with the Beef InfoXchange System

Databases are very powerful tools that can make business decisions more clear, companies more effective and lead to high customer satisfaction.  Larry Thomas is working on a very big project that will potentially connect all the dots in the value chain for beef producers.  Once this system is live it has the potential to have a very positive impact for ranchers, feeders and processors.

From the Canadian Cattleman’s Association website:

“Larry leads a team of staff and industry stakeholders on the development and implementation of the Beef InfoXchange System which is an integral component of the Canadian Beef Advantage. Communication to the industry on the value and opportunities the system will provide is a key responsibility.”

At the Tiffin 2011 Conference, I spoke with Larry Thomas about the Beef InfoXchange System and he gave me an updated timeline for the project.
