GPS has become a major component of in-tractor technology. For many of the applications of GPS, once you have them you sometimes wonder how you did certain things before hand. Auto-steer is one of those GPS applications that has received lots of marketing and as time moves on more and more farmers are experiencing the benefits. Just like a pilot in a commercial airplane, autosteer provides the farmer the ability to better manage his cab. No longer is the farmer focused on just strictly driving straight but is now focused on the operation of the tractor and the implement. When you really think about it, this makes a tremendous amount of sense.
Outback GPS was at Ag-Expo in Lethbridge and they talked to RealAgriculture.com about the benefits that their customers see in Auto-steer and some of the other GPS applications.
