London Farm Show - Halex GT is Apparently Not Just a Fancy Weed Picking Robot

by

I love cool marketing that thinks a little differently and gets creative.  One of my favorites this winter has been the Halex GT robots that pick weeds out of corn fields.  With precision accuracy the robot inspects the weeds from the field and minimizes adverse crop competition for the corn plant.

At the London Farm Show when I visited Syngenta’s booth I also found out that the product works pretty good to.  Nathan Klages, Customer Marketing Manager talked to me at the London Farm Show about the power of the Halex GT and what the robot means. Nathan told me that Halex GT provides one pass weed control for your corn crop.  The sad part is that it doesn’t come with the robots.

One funny story from the booth was that a farmer was upset that the robot was too expensive for his farm.  Ummmmm?  The robot isn’t a demonstartion but more a way to spark your creative mind but I ‘m sure you already knew that.
