Western Weather Forecast - Drew Lerner - World Weather Inc.

by

Moisture, too much or too little has been the general weather description across the West this year. We have had floods that have covered thousands of acres in Manitoba and caused land to go unseeded and people and animals to be evacuated from affected areas and excessively dry conditions like in the Peace River region that helped contribute to the wildfire devastation in Slave Lake, Alberta. Both extremes leave people asking, ” When will we see a change?”.

Keeping an eye on weather patterns becomes very important in these situations. Farmers look for windows to seed or spray based on what the weather will be like. Drew Lerner has very quickly become RealAgricultures go-to guy when it comes to weather. His forecasts have been extremely accurate and helpful to many farmers trying to make difficult planting decisions. I talked to Drew recently about the weather across the prairies, his outlook for summer and fall and if a change is coming soon.
