by

This years Farm Progress Show in Regina had everything from mini donuts to prototype machinery spread out over a massive area both indoors and out. RealAgriculture even had a booth at the event this year. There was a lot to cover and a lot to see. The show attracts roughly 40,000 visitors annually and is Canadas largest dry land farm show. This years show had a great component of new and innovative products and services, a lot of those by farmers, which is really a testament to the ingenuity and inventiveness of farmers across Canada.

In this episode of the AgMedia Roundtable, Shaun Haney of RealAgriculture.com and Lyndsey Smith of Grainews provide an overview of show as well as some of its high points.

Some of the topics include:
– the overall mood of farmers and exhibitors at the show.
– the growing presence of new innovations at the show
– the CWB debate
– saskatchewan farmer innovation
