Sakundiak Showcases its New Swing Max Pro Prototype

by

With the high use of super b’s by many farmers in farm yards to move grain, one of the frustrations is the ability to get the auger properly positioned underneath the hoppers. This can especially be a challenge at night during harvest and when unloading alone. It would appear the Sakundiak has come up with a new prototype that provides an extendible arm which allows for easy access to the trailer hoppers.  Another great feature is ability to swing the hopper from side to side over top of the main auger tube.  The beauty seems to be that all of this hydraulic control happens by the touch of a button through remote control.

I caught up with Dean Appelt of Sakundiak Equipment at the Western Farm Progress Show in Regina, Saskatchewan where he showed me some of the things the SwingMax Pro can do.
