How Do I Evaluate My Fungicide’s Effectiveness? – Dave Kloppenburg – DuPont

When it comes to spraying fungicide, when it’s all said and done, how do you evaluate whether it was worth it. Did it do the job it was supposed to? Would your crop look the same if you just left it alone? If you didn’t apply a fungicide, should you have? As we have recently said on RealAgriculture.com, fungicides are one of the products where there is a massive research focus currently.

One of the best ways to evaluate a fungicide decision is to have done a side by side comparison. Surprisingly many farmers do not do side by side comparisons on fungicides.

Recently,we were at a DuPont field day in Vulcan, Alberta. Dave Kloppenburg, Dupont Canada discusses and shows in a side by side how to properly evaluate your fungicide results. This is a great video because it shows a real example with real results.
