For a great deal of farmers, this summer has been fantastic and the harvest weather has been the same. Compared to this time last year the difference has been night and day. So the question now is, will this weather last? Will we see an extended
summer this year or will we see an early blast of winter to stop farmers dead in their tracks.
In this episode we talk to meteorologist/climatologist David Phillips. David Phillips is the Senior Climatologist with Environment Canada. Some would call him a bit of a weather historian as his knowledge of past weather events is almost photographic. I asked David what the rest of the fall may hold for us when I spoke to him by phone.
