RealWeatherWatch - Ontario Soybean Harvest Weather Forecast

Soybean harvest is underway and farmers throughout Ontario are geared to go. This time of year gets farmers particularly antsy and edgy as we ride the line between seasons. That line can bring with it all kinds of instability and a host of random weather events that can make harvest a long drawn out process. Parts of Ontario have seen that already in the form of some rain that put a halt to harvest activity. The question is, will that unsettled pattern continue or will producers get a break for the remainder of the harvest season?

Russ Murley is with Precision Weather, a weather forecasting and research service based out of Maine. He says that the wet weather and instability farmers have seen may be about to change.
