Jeff Simmons is the President of Elanco and he has truly made it his personal mission to educate the consumer on why technology is so critical to dealing with the 9 billion people problem in 2050.
I had a RealAgriculture.com subscriber send me the link to the below video which is a very simple monologue by Jeff showing why 70% of the increase in food production must come through the use of technology like biotech traits, feed enhancements and others.
What I find very cool about the video is that Jeff does not mention Elanco, does not mention industry associations but he does mention a food bank. check out the video and let us know what you think.
