Camera Monitoring Systems on the Farm Help Farmers Feel Secure and Improve Efficiency

by

An extra set of eyes can come in handy for the farmer that has to be everywhere at once. Several sets are even better. Camera monitoring equipment offers just that to farmers who would like to be several places at once or would just like the peace of mind of being able to check up on something. Camera technology has advanced to the point where you can do that almost anywhere, anytime. Wireless technology combined with compact size, high resolution and low power consumption mean you can mount cameras on machinery, in remote locations or hard to see locations and get a view where you couldn’t before.

Chris Sobchuk is with Allen Leigh Security and Communications. They offer all manner of camera systems designed for both security and agricultural uses. I talked to Chris about their product line at Cropweek in Saskatoon,Saskatchewan.
