Crop Catcher Offers Producers a Simple Way to Avoid Leaving Crops In the Field

by

We talked before about the spirit of invention and innovation that’s prevalent among Saskatchewan farmers. It seems as though they’re always tinkering with something in the shop or modifying something they bought. I don’t know if it’s long winters with nothing else to do or a lack of equipment or machinery that really suits their needs. In all our farmshow coverage, it seems as though we come across more inventions from Saskatchewan than anywhere else in Canada.

Sometimes those inventions or modifications can be so simple that you wonder why you didn’t think of it. It’s in that vein that we spotted the crop catcher. A very simple device that doe’s exactly what it says.

I spoke to Carl Cook about his product at the Crop Production Week show in Saskatoon, Sk.
