Cropweek 2012 - Bourgault Showcases Worlds Largest Air Seeder

by

One of the really cool things about trade shows in general is the “huge factor”. Companies tend to bring out the biggest, best and most impressive when it comes to machinery on the floor. There’s usually no shortage of eye popping sights to see as you walk around the show. Some of these machines may border on the ridiculous when you consider your own farm, but some of them are in production and in use on farms across Canada.

The Bourgault 7950 air seeder is one of those machines. It is the worlds largest air seeder and while it admittedly won’t fit every farm, it is in use on farms in Western Canada.

Jason Kirsch is with Bourgault Industries. He gave us a tour of the 7950 along with a look at some of the special features of the worlds largest air seeder.
