The story for corn in 2012 is going to depend on a number of things. Numbers are first and foremost the determining factor in this story. How much demand will there be globally? How many acres are going to be planted? How much good seed is available to be planted? What will the yields look like for those planted acres?
The other determining factor in the rise or fall of corn this year is weather. What can we expect to see in the way of moisture? Will drought continue through the U.S. southern plains region again this year?
In this episode of the Corn School, we look at the questions surrounding the 2012 season with help from Farms.com market analyst Moe Agostino.
