Talking to Farmers About Precision Farming

FarmTech 2012 was an incredible success by all measures. It managed to bring together some of the most progressive and diverse farmers from across the West to listen to some of the most innovative and knowledgable people in the industry. With such a diverse and savvy group available to us, we had to take the opportunity to ask a few questions. It’s with that in mind that we decided to ask that group of producers about their choice in the realm of precision farming. It’s an area that has taken off over the last few years and has also become increasingly important to producers to help them manage volatile input costs and maximize production. We asked a number of farmers what they thought was the best precision farming system when we spoke to them at FarmTech 2012.
