Saiks AgriTreks Episode 7 - Loading Soybeans On The Parana River In Argentina

by

This weeks episode of Saiks AgriTreks continues with Rob’s tour of the agriculture industry in Argentina. This time around, Rob gives us a quick look at the Louis Dreyfus loading facility on the Parana River. The soybean processing facility itself is massive and produces biodiesel, oil, raw soybean and soybean meal for export with most of its incoming product being sourced from within a 300km radius of the plant. Looking at the output of the plant can provide some real insight as to how intense soybean production is within that circle as well as the logistics behind what it takes to make a facility like that continue.
