This episode of AgriTreks brings us back to the Casa Grande area of Arizona for a look at the most valuable commodity in the desert. Managing the distribution of water is pivotal in such an extreme environment. In an area where water is so valuable because of its scarcity, an industry like agriculture stands or falls in the area of distribution.
This time around, Rob looks at irrigation in the Casa Grande region of Arizona. We get a look at how water is distributed in that area as well as the stark difference between an area that has access to irrigation and an area that doesn’t. Believe me, it gives a whole new meaning to the word “dryland”.
