Fall Burndown Strategies for Winter Wheat

The major advantage of any pre-seed burn type of scenario can be summed up in two words: breathing room. Any type of weed control strategy that offers residual control gives you margin when you need it most. When early spring weather makes it impossible to for other producers to get in the field, producers who apply a herbicide either before or after planting have some wiggle room.

As we head toward that time when producers consider options for fall burndown, RealAgriculture.com talks to Trevor Kraus of BASF about what they offer producers looking for that “breathing room”.
