Pulse School: Field Scouting Essentials

by

Plant health is affected by a multitude of factors, making identifying problems in a field a daunting task. Nobody is capable of identifying every nutrient deficiency, disease symptom, insect species or weed present. But,  anyone involved in production should clearly understand the ins and outs of scouting, and what you’ll need in order to ask for help in identifying pulse problems.

In this video, J Doug Fehr, technical sales agronomist with DuPont, explains what you should take scouting, and how you can use each tool effectively. Can’t identify a pathogen? No problem! With the right records and observations, you can easily ask for guidance.

So, get out your trowel and get scouting!
