The Wireless Capability & Big Capacity of the Meridian 1050 Seed Tender

Saving time on seeder and planter fills can translate to covering a good chunk of more acres in a day, plus there’s the added bonus of fewer man hours needed per day, if you can get your planting set up just right. Meridian Industries’ 1050 Seed Tender is one piece of equipment that was designed to work quickly and with as few hands on deck as possible.

As you’ll see in the video below, the 1050 is built for modern set ups, with five-210 cubic feet compartments, completely wireless remote control access and with an unload auger positioned to work on just about any rig. Shaun Haney caught up with Gerald Unrau at Canada’s Farm Progress Show this last June to go over the 1050’s features, including easy to see compartment alert lights and remote capability. Unrau reckons this seed tender could save you enough time to add 80 acres of seeding time in a day. Watch the video for a full run-through.
