Covering ground in a timely manner is only half the equation when planning your spray operation. Accuracy, coverage and limiting over-spray have a huge impact on product performance and cost effectiveness. So when it comes to choosing a sprayer and spraying technology, it’s not wonder there are big options with truly high tech precision farming equipment on board.
The Case IH AIM Command system fits this bill, and the AIM Command Pro offers all the bells and whistles you could imagine, right down to individual nozzle control. Mark Burns, with Case IH, takes RealAgriculture.com’s Bern Tobin for a tour of the spraying system to discuss how it controls flow rates independent of ground speed, maintaining consistent pressure and how it’s designed to conserve product when turning.
As you’ll see in the video below, the AIM Command system is available in the Case IH Patriot sprayer. While the one in this video is the very large 4430 (325 hp, Tier 4 rated), it is available in a range of six different horsepower ratings, all the way down to 165 hp.
