by

The pre-harvest period is a great time to get a handle on what plagued (or is plaguing) the soybean crop this year, how well some of your management practices turned out and filling out the check list for late fall work and early season planning.

In this Ontario soybean crop update, three agronomists — Dan Foster, of PRIDE Seeds, Shawn Brenneman, of Syngenta Canada and Aric Bos, of Pioneer — discuss some of the problems they’re seeing in the crop and what could be done about that next year. Also, the agronomists walk us through taking plant stand counts to make sure you’re not over spending on seed, sizing up tillage operations and planning for optimal winter wheat planting are also considerations discussed in this video.
