If ever you’ve wanted to tour the wilds of Africa but haven’t had the chance, RealAgriculture.com is pleased to bring you Rob Saik’s latest set of agri-touring videos — Saik’s Agri-Treks. Saik is the founder and CEO of the Agri-Trend group of companies and spends a portion of each year visiting far-off and not-so-far-off lands and learning about how agriculture happens there.
In this first video in a series of Saik’s tour of Kenya, we get the lay of the land from a burned out airport upon arrival, to an amazing elephant parade, to a gigantic ostrich and the most adorable ear-twitching hippos you’ve ever seen. You’ll get just a glimpse of some of the infrastructure challenges, work that’s being done with water and livestock and more. Stay tuned, as there are at least two other videos in this series.
