Weed control ahead of the crop is so vital to getting the crop off to the best start possible, it’s true, but later emerging or flushes of weeds can strangle a crop in a hurry. As discussed in the first episode of Tech Tour, the sprayer can be a great first place to begin adding efficiency on the farm, and weed control strategies play a big role in that.

In-crop weed control can often be a race between crop staging and weed type and size. While it’s important to choose the most effective herbicide for the weed spectrum you’re tackling, sometimes you have to prioritize grassy control first and vice versa. How do you make the decision?
