Without question one of the key components of a successful farm conference is the caliber of the networking opportunities available. FarmTech’s great speaker lineup and face-time-heavy agenda lends itself very well to meeting new and interesting people. At this year’s event, RealAgriculture’s founder Shaun Haney sat down with a few attendees to discuss what brought them to the show and how learning about farming from other parts of the country (and world!) can impact how you farm.

For Corey MacQuarrie, farmer and member of the New Brunswick Young Farmers Forum, his attendance at FarmTech was won through a video contest in his home province. In this video, Shaun asks Corey what drives him to farm, and they discuss some pretty significant differences between farming out east and here on the Prairies.
