While this towering, leafy plant may be recognizable for its uncanny resemblance to that other crop that shall remain nameless, hemp is gaining in popularity as a healthy food ingredient. From protein powders, to packaged snacks, to sprinkled on salads or oatmeal, hemp isn’t just tasty, it’s also proving a great cropping option for farmers who have contracted the crop.
