The USC LPX Series Treater with Tri-Flo Hopper

To many farmers, seed treatment is not an input worth questioning (check out Shane Thomas’ Three Reasons You Must Treat Your Seed), and as farms grow, it’s likely that the size and capacity of seed treaters will increase as well.

In this video, Kaitlyn Dirkson of CanSeed Equipment Ltd., shows us a USC LPX Series seed treater with a Tri-Flo Hopper. The seeder uses a rotary drum to treat seed, with a direct connection to a row of bins, allowing the operator to pull seed from any bin in the series. The capacity of the seed treater shown is roughly 1800 bushels per hour.
