Real Agriculture to Open Ottawa Bureau

It’s with much fanfare, pomp and circumstance, confetti cannons and more that we roll out the following news: Lyndsey Smith, editor of this illustrious web site is moving to Ottawa to open our fifth bureau. (The other four are Lethbridge, somewhere in the Special Areas of Alberta, Guelph and, currently, Winnipeg. There will be a test later).

Real Agriculture’s founder Shaun Haney and Lyndsey Smith decided there was really no better way to announce the move and what it means for the site and site content than to do a very somber, very serious interview outlining the opportunity. Click the above player and have a listen!

And once you’ve done that, you’ll learn that Lyndsey’s move to Ottawa, leaves the Real Agriculture team down a (wo)man in Western Canada. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Real Aggie? (Some criteria are included in the audio above, but a penchant for coffee drinking and sports trivia were named as possible “musts” by management. We’ll let you guess who listed each). Watch this space or our Twitter feed for a link to a more formal job description/posting!

Those interested will need to apply via video or audio clip, and send it to Shaun ([email protected]) or Lyndsey ([email protected]) by no later than June 30, 2014.
