Having one dark chapter in your life doesn’t mean that’s how the whole book has to be, says Mary Morrissey, a life coach and motivational speaker, who spoke at last month’s Advancing Women — Leadership in Agriculture conference.
Morrissey is no stranger to set backs, challenges and being told her dreams were unattainable. But from a very young age, Morrissey discovered that her belief in herself and her own attitude towards reaching goals was paramount to achievement. This realization has shaped her entire life and career, and she has spent decades digging in to how people achieve their dreams.
From facing financial ruin and business failure to interviewing Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama, Morrissey shares a part of her amazing story in this interview with Real Agriculture’s field editor Debra Murphy. Hear her thoughts on goal setting, attitude and more in the discussion below.
