Fenders play an incredible role in reducing equipment and nozzle damage and keeping the sprayer clean, thus reducing the risk of soil-borne disease movement. Still, owning a set of fenders for both wide and narrow tires can be costly, and the process for removal and replacement can be rather time consuming. With all this in mind, Eric Gray, president of FendX, decided it was time to build a set of fenders that could be altered to fit both wide and narrow tires.

The FenderXtender is a polyethylene product which couples two smaller fenders, such that one can be easily removed for the transition to narrow tires. With a simple two-bolt design, the alteration takes less than a minute per fender. In this video, Gray explains how his family was inspired to start manufacturing and marketing the FenderXtender, the efficiency of its installation, the sprayers it’s designed for, pricing and where the product can be purchased.
