Agrton Enterprises Inc’s Legend Detection System was on display at Canada’s Farm Progress Show this year. Using an iPhone or Android device to track air drill operation, the system proves there is indeed an app for that. And with the built-in Seed Rate Wizard it allows the operator to check their pounds per acre or seeds per acre calibration for both seed and fertilizer.
The Legend monitors up to 240 seed and fertilizer runs, ensuring there are no blockages and that the runs are delivering the right rates. The system is available in a wireless edition, which helps mitigate the risk of a tractor cab blockage due to a tangled operator. (Safety first!)
