Real Agriculture Wins Two Awards at the Canadian Farm Writers’ Annual Conference

The RealAgriculture TeamFor the third year in a row, was honoured with an award in the World Wide Web category — The Henry Heald award — at the Canadian Farm Writers’ Federation annual conference, this year held in Charlottetown, P.E.I.

Real Agriculture was awarded the Gold in the category. Last year, the website won the bronze. In 2012, the website was also handed the top award in the category.

Also of note, Real Agriculture’s Lyndsey Smith won a silver in the online media – audio category — The Tom Leach award — for her Agronomy Geeks podcast episode focused on seeding canola. Kelvin Heppner, Real Agriculture’s newest team member, won bronze in the category for his work with Golden West Radio.
