Fall brings two things — harvest and the return of NHL hockey. The NHL season has returned for another season and many of us have been waiting very impatiently since the LA Kings raised the Stanley Cup for the second time in three years this past June.

In celebration of the NHL season and the 1st annual RealAg Hockey Pool, we have launched the RealAg Hockey Podcast.  I always wanted to be a sports broadcaster so why not launch take the plunge and get a podcast started. It’s a great way for the RealAg community to talk hockey and have some great fun.

In episode 1 of the RealAg Hockey Podcast, we chat with Rick Taillieu rom Alberta Canola Producers Commission and Realag Field Editor Kelvin Heppner. Rick is our Winnipeg Jets correspondent and Kelvin breaks down the Toronto Maple Leafs. We also chat about the opening night for Sportsnet and how Federal Ag Minister Gerry Ritz is helping RealAgriculture raise money for cancer research in the RealAg Hockey Pool.
