Three days before the early bird deadline and three weeks before kick-off, the 2015 FarmTech Conference sold out. And it’s no wonder, really. The event boasts big name keynotes like improv master Colin Mochrie and Canada’s Peter Mansbridge, but it doesn’t rely on keynotes alone to garner attention. Concurrent speakers are also of impressive calibre, hand-picked by FarmTech’s education committee. Among them is the Canadian Centre for Unmanned Vehicle Systems’ (CCUVS) chief operations officer, Sterling Cripps.

Cripps’ presentation will highlight some of the rules and regulations around unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) use in Canada, and also explore agriculture as the “next great frontier” for UAVs.
