Here in Canada, between 2013 and 2014, the beekeeping industry actually experienced some impressive growth, with increases in beekeepers, colonies, honey production and value (Statistics Canada). Yet, even if we ignore the debate around pesticides, there are still some pretty incredible challenges facing beekeepers and their livestock.
