Last week, close to 600 women, and a few men, met in the Calgary, Alta., for the second Advancing Women in Agriculture leadership conference.
From learning about the value of networking, to finding work/life balance, to hearing many people’s personal journeys to success, women who attended the conference left inspired, connected and energized.
As is the Real Agriculture tradition, Debra Murphy hosted a wrap up of the conference and is joined by none other than Dianne Finstead, seasoned broadcaster and event emcee, for this particular wrap up. Watch below for a fresh feel of the conference, why there was just a hint of controversy ahead of the event, and how celebrating women means appreciating the role of men in our lives, too.
(Editor’s note: I’m sorry I couldn’t be there, but I will be attending the October event in Toronto. Please, no cucumber water)
