Mazergroup Adds Southeast Manitoba New Holland Dealer

All the New Holland dealerships in Manitoba will soon operate under the same banner as Brandon-based Mazergroup has announced plans to acquire Southeastern Farm Equipment in Steinbach.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it’s expected to close on July 1st.

“All of us at Mazergroup are excited about adding such a reputable dealership to our organization. We look forward to having Corey and Russ Plett join our shareholder group and become valuable members of our sales management team,” said Mazergroup president and CEO Bob Mazer in a news release.

Southeastern Farm Equipment was started in 1972, and caters to the concentration of livestock and poultry farms in southeastern Manitoba. The company built a 40 thousand square foot facility on 18 acres on the north side of Steinbach in 2005.

Mazergroup was already the largest New Holland dealership chain in North America, with 14 locations (including Steinbach) in Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan.
