RealAgriculture Launches New Series to Help You Mind Your Farm Business (MYFB)

RealAgriculture, the Canadian agriculture digital media leader, is launching a new audio series to assist producers in building their farm management skills. The 12-part series — Mind Your Farm Business — is sponsored by RBC Royal Bank, and new episodes will be released twice a month, beginning June 9th, 2015.

Agriculture is not isolated from the demands of business today, and farmers are operating and managing complex businesses that require extensive knowledge and business savvy. Continuous learning and professional development are key elements to moving a farm business forward, and now farmers can work on this skill while in the barn, the cab, or the field.

Mind Your Farm Business, available for download on iTunes and Stitcher, will tackle the art of goal setting, questions around succession planning, plans for risk management, and how and why to join a peer advisory group, to name just a few topics. This series is designed to stimulate discussion and, more importantly,  spark ideas and provide tools to increase the probability of farm business success.

In every episode the RealAgriculture editorial team will talk to a range of well-known and respected farm business experts both from Canada and the U.S. in an engaging, concise audio format.

The podcast series begins on June 9th. You’ll find new posts at MindYourFarmBusiness.com.
