U.S. farmers affected by drought have now a chance to produce the same amount of crops using much less water, and all this due to a team of Italian scientists that developed a new water management system that allows the farmer to control the humidity in the soil and with the help of a network of perforated pipes the farmer can control from a tablet with internet connection the exact amount of water needed by the soil.
