Cattlewomen for the cure successfully raised $102,000 for the War Amps-Champs Program this year, through its annual charity golf tournament.
In its tenth year, the hope was that the group would surpass $500,000 in total charity contributions for August tee-off. And,with the help of sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and a matching donation of $50,000 from Keith Ypma, they did just that.
This winter, the group will decide on a charity for their 2016 golf tournament, but for now, they’re celebrating a milestone.
