Nearly a year ago, Kubota announced a new contender in the square circle, and this month, it was on display at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. With 130-170HP and an optional maximum speed of 50km/h (31mph), the M7 Series brings strength and agility to the ag octagon.
“Kubota has established a well-respected name for itself in the industry over the last four decades. As we move in to a new era for the company, we continue to build on the strength of the Kubota brand and grow our business into new segments,” said Masato Yoshikawa, president and CEO, Kubota Tractor Corporation, in a release last October.
The M7’s endurance is fuelled by a diesel particulate filter, selective catalytic reduction technologies and exhaust gas recirculation. The series meets and exceeds Tier 4 Final regulations. And, with a 87 gallon fuel tank, it spends little time in the corner.

Kubota Canada’s Martin Carrier joins Shaun Haney to talk about the company’s flagship product, covering everything from cab comfort to bar axles. Carrier also explains when the tractors will be available and how to request a test drive.
“We took everything we did great in [the small product market] and looked at our dealers and said, hey guys, can you sell something bigger?’” explained Kubota Canada’s Martin Carrier (interview above). “They basically answered, ‘If you’re making it as good as you’re making the small stuff, you bet we’ll sell it.’”
M7 tractors are ISOBUS compatible and come with a 3-stage front suspension system (which can be adjusted manually or automatically). They are available with a variable or 24 speed powershift transmission and optional: creeper, front PTO and front three-point hitch.
It looks like Kubota is sending quite the haymaker.
