And that’s exactly what Bonnie Schmidt, the president of Let’s Talk Science, discussed at the Advancing Women Conference East in Toronto this week, where she delved into the importance of trusting others and working together.

Schmidt started Let’s Talk Science, a charitable organization which is focused on helping youth (and their teachers) understand science, technology, engineering and mathematics, in 1993. It’s since grown to be one of the leading national education and outreach organizations in Canada, reaching over 3 million people.
She discusses her career path, relationships that impacted her career and the need for better science education in this conversation with RealAg’s Shaun Haney:
