AGCO has set its sights on the utility tractor market and is producing four new tractors to ensure it hits the target.
Farmers got their first look at the new Massey Ferguson 2700E series at the 2015 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois. Warren Morris, tactical marketing manager at AGCO, says the tractors are ideal for loader work, hay work and mowing. They’re also well-suited to tackle many rear implement jobs, including rotary cutting, box blading, rotary tilling and posthole digging.

Two models are offered: the MF2705E (49 HP) and the MF2706E (57 HP). There are also two transmission choices (hydrostatic and 8×8 synchro-shuttle transmission), 4-wheel drive and a five-year power train warranty.
The hitch lift capacity tops out at 2,425 pounds and offers increased versatility with extendable, telescopic lower links as standard equipment. Other implements available include the L135E front loader and the CB85 backhoe. The loader is available with a skid steer-style, compatible, quick-attach system for buckets, forks and other loader attachments.
