A large silver tub hangs in place of a front-end loader, accentuated by its own strikingly red grapple.
“It’s an all-in-one machine,” Fliegl’s Christoph Hierl explains in the video below. “So with one tractor, you have the possibility to load…the bale, to cut the bale, to mix it, and to feed.”
With a 1.7 cubic metre capacity, Fliegl’s Pressebilder – Power Feeder first cuts the bale in two pieces, continues Hierl. It mixes the forage in about 2 minutes, and the remaining ration can be fed through one side (left or right) or both. Of course, the implement isn’t limited to bales. It can pick up pellets, grain, and loose feed.
For bigger appetites, Fliegl offers the Big Power Feeder in galvanized or stainless steel. Its capacity hits 2.2 cubic metres, and it is available with an optional weigh scale.
Christoph Hierl shows us around Fliegl’s loader-mounted tub-grinder in this video filmed at Agritechnica 2015.
