The Pathfinder from Salford Group is a versatile, steerable cart designed to travel behind anything from a strip till bar to a planter or tillage tool. It’s also designed to carry multiple fertilizer application systems.
Salford product manager Brad Baker explains the PathFinder is equipped with a steerable undercarriage that can be adjusted from 120 to 160 inches in height to meet the needs of row crop farmers. The cart’s standard tires and high clearance axle also allow the machine to enter the fields for late-season applications. It comes with a universal, double-ball hitch so the cart can be partnered with virtually any tool bar, strip till, tillage or planting implement.
Earlier this year at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, Baker showed RealAgriculture how the Pathfinder pairs with a Valmar ST dry product delivery tank to feed strip till units and planters.
